Tonight I decided to run 3 miles after a bit of a warm-up. I really didn't have any real goal in mind other than I wanted to run them in less than 24 minutes (8 min/mile). I was able to run an avg. mile time of 7:02 pretty good considering I haven't done a track workout in quite a long time. Hmmm.... let's see, yeah since XC season. Well, here are splits by laps and miles...
Lap 1: 1:55 - 1:55, Lap 2: 1:50 - 3:46, Lap 3: 1:54 - 5:40, Lap 4: 7:24 - 7:24 mile 1
Lap 5: 1:41 - 9:06, Lap 6: 1:37 - 10:43, Lap 7: 1:38 - 12:22, Lap 8: 1:29 - 13:52 mile 2 (6:28)
Lap 9: 1:57 - 15:49, Lap 10: 1:49 - 17:39, Lap 11: 1:48 - 19:27, Lap 12: 1:39 - 21:06 mile 3 (7:12)
All in all I felt pretty good and it was a beautiful night with a stunning view of Mt. Baker. Thanks Teva for being my pacer!
