Last night Annalisa and I planned to get up early 4:45ish and be on the water by 5:15 for about an hour paddle. Well this morning we awoken by the chirping of birds outside our window and the realization that our early start, wasn't going to happen, it was 5:45 already... no time for a paddle this morning.
In light of this, I decided that I was going to take advantage of the beautiful weather of today and do a bike and then follow it up with a run. Mt. or Road that is the question, because I went pretty hard yesterday on my Mt. bike I decided to take a nice easy ride on the roady out to Bayview state park and back. After a 6 minute transition into some dry clothes a quick drink and bite I was out the door jogging. Annalisa and I are going to get that hour kayak in this evening so I'm feeling good about the day. Man, being a teacher/coach sure has its benefits. Here are the stats from today's workout.
BIKE - 27.7 miles - 1:30.51 - 18.9 mph avg.
RUN - 2.5 miles - 17:33 - (1/2 mile warm up; mile 1=8:25; mile 2=7:19; 1/2 mile warm down)
KAYAK - 3ish miles - 1:00
We are off to Spokane tomorrow for the weekend, I've got a Outdoor Adventure PE conference that I'm attending.
